The Memphis Muslim Medical Clinic (MMMC) is a weekend charity clinic that opened in 2006 to serve the Berclair area first and then the Greater-Memphis Metropolitan Area. This clinic was established by the Muslim Community living in the Mid-South as a means to give back to the community of which Muslims are an integral part.
The clinic provides low-cost primary care services to patients without insurance regardless of background including but not limited to financial status, race, religion, ethnicity, or gender. The staff of the clinic is comprised of management staff, nurses, and volunteer physicians. MMMC has collaborative partnerships with several Memphis-area organizations and clinics including AEL, the Church Health Center, Methodist-LeBonheur Healthcare, local healthcare providers, the Muslim Society of Memphis, and Midtown Mosque.
MMMC strives to continually promote understanding between people of diverse backgrounds.
